BROWNE, DUNLOP AND JORDAN LEAD THE CLASSIC TT 2025 ROLL OF HONOUR

The curtain has fallen on another unforgettable Classic TT, with three races serving up thrilling action and standout performances on the iconic Mountain Course.

From Michael Dunlop’s commanding ride in the Lightweight Classic TT, to Paul Jordan’s emotional maiden Mountain Course victory in the Historic Junior Classic TT, and Mike Browne’s gritty triumph in the Historic Senior Classic TT, this year’s awards reflect the timeless spirit of classic racing at road racing’s spiritual home.

JORDAN'S JUNIOR

Paul Jordan secured his place on the Classic TT roll of honour by winning the Historic Junior Classic TT. Riding with style and determination, Jordan also picked up the Jim Redman Trophy - named after the legendary six-time TT winner Jim Redman the trophy is awarded to the highest-placed finisher on a multi-cylinder machine.

Will Loder also impressed, the first rider home on a single cylinder machine in 12th, earning him the Geoff Duke Trophy - Loder’s Greeves Oulton machine undoubtedly turning heads amongst a sea of Honda CB350s.

DUNLOP DOMINATES ON THE 250

Michael Dunlop added yet another chapter to his TT story with a commanding performance in the Lightweight Classic TT (Formula Two). His victory on the Honda 250 gave him the Formula Two Classic TT Trophy, while he also collected the Brian Reid Trophy for finishing as the highest-placed rider on a 250cc GP machine.

In the same race, Craig Neve showed his versatility, taking the Dave Leach Trophy as the highest finisher on a 400cc Supersport machine, finishing 9th on his Kawasaki ZXR400.

BROWNE VICTORIOUS IN BATTLE

The Historic Senior Classic TT was one of the most eagerly anticipated races of the week, and it was Mike Browne who rose to the occasion on his 500 Norton. Browne claimed the 500cc Classic TT Trophy after a flawless ride, and his efforts on a single-cylinder machine also earned him the Mike Hailwood Trophy.

TT legend Ian Lougher was also recognised for his 4th place finish, lifting the Giacomo Agostini Trophy as the highest-placed multi-cylinder competitor onboard his 500 Paton.

Sadly, the cancellation of the Formula One and Senior Classic TT races meant that several prestigious trophies went unclaimed in 2025, including the Formula One Classic TT Trophy, Joey Dunlop Trophy, Graeme Crosby Trophy, Phillip McCallen Trophy, and the Senior Classic TT Trophy.

SPECIAL AWARDS CELEBRATE SPIRIT AND HERITAGE

The Classic TT is about more than just race wins, and several special awards recognise outstanding contributions to the event.

Clubman racer Jeff Smith was awarded the Spirit of the Classic TT Trophy for his meritorious determination and effort across the week, whilst Dutch newcomer Jeffrey Vermeulen impressed in his debut year, taking the Classic TT Newcomer Award.

The Classic TT Concours Award, awarded to the owner of the most meritorious machine based on technical significance, preparation, presentation, and sporting success in the view of the Race Management Team went to Flitwick Motorcycles for their beautifully prepared Royal Enfield 500cc.
