Following on from a successful first event in November 2019, Charterhouse are once again holding a free valuation day for classic, vintage and race motorcycles as well as trophies, signage, brochures and other automobilia on Sunday 26 January at the Isle of Man Motor Museum, Jurby.
Matthew Whitney, motorcycle specialist at Charterhouse Auctioneers: “Our last valuation at Jurby turned up some cracking motorbikes which were entered in the Classic TT Auction. Such was the popularity of the event that over £200,000 of motorbikes were consigned for the auction on the day.”
The first Classic TT Auction is scheduled to take place on Sunday 30th August in the Classic TT Paddock and the Charterhouse team estimate items with a collective reserve price of over £500,000 have already been consigned.
The first Valuation Day saw a range of sports, race and vintage machines added to the catalogue, as well as a range of memorabilia that included two 1920’s Isle of Man TT Trophies estimated at £300 - £500.
No appointments are necessary for the Valuation Day on Sunday 26th January and Charterhouse staff will be on hand to help value, advise and consign items to the Classic TT Auction.
Alternatively, home visits are available on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Monday 27th January and can be arranged by contacting Matthew Whitney on +44 (0) 1935 812277 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
