Brand new for 2020, the Qualifying Party on Friday 5th June brings practice week to a close in real style and opens the weekend’s festivities with a bang. The night’s entertainment will come courtesy of not one, but two of the UK’s top radio and TV personalities, who will be bringing their love and knowledge of the music industry to the Paddock Club, playing the greatest tracks from the last three decades.
Following last year’s sell out event with Carl Cox, the Closing Party will return in 2020 in its now established Senior Race Day slot. The end of week celebrations will again feature one of the most well-known and well-respected DJs in the business - as well as a number of epic tracks, familiar to all and guaranteed to get the crowd bouncing.
Music fans were treated to a very special gig last year courtesy of the hit-factory that is The Feeling. Including all the big singles and a surprise Beatles medley, the band delighted concertgoers with a storming live set in the TT’s intimate concert venue. Now expanded to 850 persons, The Mercury Club is still where you can get up close and personal with some of the biggest names in music.
TT COMEDY CLUB
The new-look TT Comedy Club moves to Saturday 6th June, promising plenty of belly laughs on the busiest night of the festival. This year’s bill will boast some of the best stand-up as familiar faces share the stage with the next generation of comedic talent, for an evening of hilarious anecdotes, surreal musings and sharp social commentary.
