CLASSIC TT 2026: WHAT’S ON
Classic racing, legendary riders, iconic machinery, live entertainment and plenty to experience across the Island, here’s what’s happening during Classic TT 2026.
With Classic TT 2026 just around the corner, the Island is getting ready for a fortnight celebrating the machines, riders and stories that have shaped road racing history.
Running from Sunday 16 to Friday 28 August, the Classic TT forms part of a packed two-wheeled fortnight alongside the Manx Grand Prix, with plenty happening both on and away from the Mountain Course.
EXPERIENCE THE CLASSIC TT RACING
At the heart of the event is the racing, with six classes competing in 2026, including the returning Ultra-Lightweight and Junior 600 classes. Among the riders entered are Michael Dunlop MBE, Dean Harrison, John McGuinness MBE, Peter Hickman and Jamie Coward.
Race days are scheduled to take place on Monday 24, Wednesday 26 and Friday 28 August, with qualifying beforehand.
CELEBRATE JOHN MCGUINNESS MBE’S 30-YEAR TT CAREER
A major highlight of Classic TT 2026 will be a celebration of John McGuinness MBE’s 30 years of racing on the Isle of Man.
The free to attend John McGuinness Exhibition within the Mercury Club at the TT Grandstand opens from 12:00 on Wednesday 19 August, featuring iconic motorcycles, leathers and helmets from seven milestone moments in his career.
The celebrations culminate on Friday 28 August when McGuinness takes to the Mountain Course for a special John McGuinness MBE Parade at 15:30.

GET CLOSE TO ICONIC MACHINERY
The TT Grandstand and paddock provide the perfect opportunity to get closer to the bikes and teams throughout the event, with free access to the Grandstand seating and paddock.
On Wednesday 26 August, historic machinery will also return to the Mountain Course for the 1996 TT Rewind / Classic Sidecar Parade at 12:15.

LOOK TO THE SKIES
The action extends beyond the Mountain Course on Thursday 27 August, when the Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team takes to the skies above Douglas Bay. The spectacular display will take place opposite the Villa Marina at 19:30.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT AT THE GRANDSTAND
The TT Grandstand Beer Garden will host live podcasts, rider interviews, special guests, live music, prize presentations and historic TT footage throughout the event.
There will also be live classic motorcycle engine start-ups, bringing some of the era’s most iconic machines to life in front of fans.
Racing stories and memories take centre stage with live podcasts and interviews.
EXPLORE THE ISLAND
For those already on the Island, Classic TT provides plenty of opportunities to experience more of what the Isle of Man has to offer between sessions and race days. Explore the TT Mountain Course, discover coastal roads and towns, visit local attractions or simply find a roadside vantage point and soak up the atmosphere.
With the Manx Grand Prix also taking place during the fortnight, there is racing and entertainment across the Island from Sunday 16 August onwards.
