What's on at the grandstand for Classic TT?

ENGINES, ICONS AND ENTERTAINMENT: YOUR GRANDSTAND EXPERIENCE

The Classic TT Races are set to be more than just a celebration of speed, they’re a tribute to the legends, machines, and memories that have shaped the Isle of Man’s rich racing heritage.

This year, the TT Grandstand will be the beating heart of nostalgia, offering fans an unforgettable experience alongside the on-course action.

Whether you're a lifelong TT enthusiast or visiting for the first time, there’s plenty to explore and enjoy.

Joey Dunlop Exhibition & Cinema

Step into the legacy of one of the sport’s greatest icons. The Joey Dunlop Exhibition, located in the Mercury Club, offers a rare and moving glimpse into the life and career of the 26-time TT winner. Featuring personal memorabilia, iconic race bikes, and a dedicated cinema screening archive footage.

Joey’s treble-winning machines take centre stage, joined by his iconic yellow helmet, leathers,  trophies, and a collection of personal items that bring both the man and the magic to life, from paddock passes to the unopened champagne bottle from the Ultra Lightweight Race, to his unmistakable race transporter. It’s all here.

You’ll also find the leathers and helmets worn by fellow 2000 podium finishers John McGuinness MBE and Michael Rutter - a reminder of the names, rivalries, and respect that defined that era.

TT Legends in Sculpture

The Mannin Cancers Support Group, the Official Charity Partner of the TT Races, brings a unique display to the Grandstand: the Mannin Bikes. These full-sized sculptures of legendary TT machines pay tribute to the heroes who rode them. Located in the Mercury Club, the exhibit is both a celebration of racing history and a powerful symbol of community support.

The Beer Garden

Refuel and relax with a wide selection of food and drink stalls offering everything from local favourites to international bites. The Beer Garden is the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere, catch up with fellow fans, and enjoy a cold drink while classic machines roar in the background.

On-Stage Action: Live Podcasts, Music, Start-Ups & More

The Beer Garden stage will host a packed schedule of live entertainment throughout the Classic TT.

Expect:

  • Live podcasts featuring racing legends and special guests
  • Live music acts
  • Live engine start ups bringing classic machines back to life
  • Prize presentations celebrating the race winners
  • Big screen showings of historic TT footage

It’s a full-throttle celebration of everything that makes the Classic TT special.

Free Access to the Paddock & Grandstand

As always, fans can enjoy free access to the paddock, and for 2025 the Grandstand seating will also be free throughout the entire Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT period.

Wander through the race paddock, get up close to the bikes, chat with teams, and soak in the sights and sounds of race day from the best seat in the house.

Whether you're here to relive the glory days or make new memories, the Grandstand is the place to be. Come for the racing, stay for the memories.
