VISIT CLASSIC TT

VISITING THE CLASSIC TT

Returning from Sunday 16 to Friday 28 August 2026, the Classic TT brings the most iconic machines in motorcycle racing back to the world’s most legendary motorsport venue - the TT Mountain Course.

Held every August, it offers a different experience to May/June’s Isle of Man TT Races. More relaxed, nostalgic, and deeply rooted in racing heritage. You’ll see historic bikes pushed to their limits, hear engines that defined generations, and get closer to the sport than almost anywhere else.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the Isle of Man TT, the Classic TT is one of the best ways to start. It’s easier to access,, and still delivers everything that makes the event special.

Whether you're coming for the racing, the atmosphere, or the island itself, this is a trip worth planning properly.

The Classic TT Experience

The Classic TT isn’t just about the racing, it’s about the atmosphere, access, and sense of community that makes the event unique. It’s a more relaxed way to experience the TT, while still delivering world-class racing on the Mountain Course.

Spectating

The Isle of Man TT Course offers hundreds of viewing spots, from fast roadside sections to open countryside vantage points. One of the key differences at the Classic TT is that Grandstand access is free, making it easier to experience the start and finish area up close. Visitors can enjoy race commentary, facilities, and direct access to the heart of the event without the need for a ticket.

Paddock & Fan Access

One of the biggest advantages of the Classic TT is how close you can get to the action. Fans are able to walk through the paddock, see each classic machine up close, and experience the preparation and detail that goes into each lap. Identical to May/June’s TT event, it’s not uncommon to meet riders and teams, creating a deep personal connection to the sport.

The Atmosphere

The Classic TT offers a relaxed and welcoming environment. The focus on heritage creates a shared appreciation for the history of the sport. It feels less crowded than the main TT, while still retaining the same authenticity and excitement.

From bike showcases and exhibitions to ride-outs, meet-ups, and tributes to racing legends, there’s always something happening away from the course.
