Following on from their most successful season to date, the team return with a strengthened package and clear progression targets, as Williams lines up in the two Monster Energy Supersport and Carole Nash Sportbike TT races.

Manxman, Williams will campaign a ‘next generation’ Suzuki GSX-R750 machine in the Supersport class, marking a change from the Honda CBR600 previously used. Alongside this, he will continue with the Aprilia RS660 in the Supertwin category, aligning with the new Sportbike regulations.

The Suzuki GSX-R750 is a 2025-spec machine purchased from a respected American team and has since been fully rebuilt, including a fresh engine and revised chassis setup. It should give them a stronger package under the current regulations, particularly in terms of torque and overall performance window. It’s a bike they believe is more suited to the demands of the Mountain Course.

For the Supertwin class, which continues under Sportbike regulations, Williams will remain on the proven Aprilia RS660. The bike, which delivered victory at the Manx Grand Prix, has undergone further development over the winter, in the hope of strengthening it again for TT race conditions.

The announcement follows a breakthrough 2025 campaign, where Williams claimed victories in both the Supersport and Supertwin races at the Manx Grand Prix. He finished third in the remaining two races, making him the only rider to stand on the podium in all four events, whilst also securing two European Championship titles during the season.

Williams previously competed at the TT in 2018 and continues to build his experience on the Mountain Course. His fastest lap at the Manx Grand Prix stands at 120.524mph, the first time he has broken the 120mph barrier, achieved just one year after a significant setback at the same event.

Jamie Williams 2025 had double victory at the Manx Grand Prix, where he also secured four podium finishes

Jamie Williams said: “The priority is to finish races and improve consistently through the week. We want to see a 3-4mph increase in our average lap speeds and build momentum session by session. If everything goes to plan, I believe a Top 10 in Supertwin and a Top 15 in Supersport is within our grasp. We’re a privateer team, but we pride ourselves on being organised and professional in everything we do.”

Sean Oates, Team Principal NCE Racing added: “Last season proved that Jamie is ready for this step. Winning two MGP races and standing on the podium in all four showed consistency as well as speed. We’ve invested properly in the right bikes and the right people. The Suzuki gives us a strong Supersport package under the new regulations, and the Aprilia has already shown it can win. We’ll approach the TT the same way we approach everything, prepared, focused and steady. We want solid finishes, faster laps and to leave the Island knowing we’ve moved forward again. That’s the objective.”

The team continues to benefit from the support of a strong network of local and national sponsors, led by the Claremont Hotel and 4everRR, alongside technical partners including FW Developments, Maxton Suspension, Metzeler Tyres, TT Race Leathers and Silkolene Lubricants & Fluids.

As a privateer effort, JLG Racing powered by NCE Racing approach the 2026 TT with a clear, structured programme combining proven machinery and a focus on consistent progression. With momentum from the Manx Grand Prix and a refined package, this entry represents a measured but significant step forward for team and rider.
