ISLE OF MAN TT RACES RETURNS TO MOTORCYCLE LIVE

ISLE OF MAN TT RACES RETURNS TO MOTORCYCLE LIVE

A unique collection of era-defining, record-breaking machinery and the chance to stand on a TT podium – complete with the Superbike TT Trophy – are just two of the features fans can look forward to as part of this year’s Isle of Man TT Races stand at the 2019 Motorcycle Live show.

TT fans will also have the opportunity to secure the best possible seats for the 2020 Isle of Man TT Races with an exclusive 10% discount on Official Grandstand tickets purchased at Motorcycle Live.

Kicking off on Saturday 16th November, Motorcycle Live gives you the chance to meet your heroes with TT stars including Peter Hickman, Dean Harrison, John McGuinness and Michael Dunlop all making appearances throughout the nine-day event.

A collection featuring six of the most important TT machines from the past two decades – bikes that have dominated the headlines and ripped up the record books over the last twenty years at the TT – will be a highlight on the TT stand.

The ‘Modern Milestones’ display will be led by the fastest machine ever to lap the TT Mountain Course – Peter Hickman’s 2018 Smiths Racing BMW on which he set the outright lap record of 135.452mph. Other milestone marking bikes that fans will be able to view close up are Michael Dunlop’s Hawk Racing BMW S1000RR that was the first bike to set a sub 17-minute lap in 2016, and David Jefferies’ 2000 Senior TT Race winning V&M Yamaha R1 – the first bike to lap the Mountain Course at an average speed over 125mph.

As well as the headline making race bikes, this year’s stand will also feature four front running bikes from TT 2019, complete with full kit from the riders who raced the bikes as part of a collaboration with TT sponsors RST and Arai. Conor Cummins’s Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycle Honda superbike, Ian Hutchinson’s Honda Racing superbike, Jamie Coward’s Prez Racing Yamaha and Lee Johnston’s TT-winning Ashcourt Racing Yamaha R6 will all be on the stand as will Ben and Tom Birchall’s double sidecar TT race winning machine.

You can also see highlights of all of this year’s action via the big screen, which will also be showing some of the fastest on-board laps talked through at the show by TT legend Richard ‘Milky’ Quayle, who will be sharing his intimate insights into racing the TT Mountain Course.

This year’s on stand competition offers TT fans the chance to win a VIP trip to the TT while there is also the opportunity to play the latest version of the ‘Ride on the Edge’ TT game on Playstation consoles on the stand.

Tickets for the 2020 Isle of Man TT Races will go on sale on Saturday 16th November from 9:00 via the Official iomttraces.com website including Official Grandstand Tickets, VIP Hospitality Experiences, and Official Entertainment Events.
