PAUL JORDAN HOPES FOR CONTINUED SUCCESS IN THIRD YEAR WITH JACKSON RACING AT TT

Following two successful seasons together, which included a podium appearance last year, Jordan and the Jackson Racing have extended their partnership at the Isle of Man TT Races to a third successive year in 2026.

Jordan finished third and fourth in the two Supertwin races last year and will continue to campaign the Aprilia RS660 in the new Sportbike class, whilst he’ll also remain on board the CRB1000RR Honda Fireblade for the RST Superbike, RL360 Superstock and Milwaukee Senior races.

The only significant change for 2026 comes in the Monster Energy Supersport TT races, where the 34-year-old switches from the Honda CBR600RR to one of the next generation Ducati Panigale V2 machines, prepared to a similar specification to that used by Michael Dunlop to secure two Supersport TT victories in 2025, signalling clear intent for further progression in one of the event’s most competitive categories.

Paul Jordan's recent seasons have underlined continued forward momentum

Jordan made his TT debut in 2017 and has steadily established himself as a consistent performer around the 37.73-mile Mountain Course. A former British Championship race winner, he now boasts 41 TT starts and 13 top-ten finishes. Eight of those have come with the Jackson Racing team, whose previous riders include John McGuinness, Josh Brookes, James Hillier, David Johnson, Dan Kneen and Steve Mercer.

His first TT podium arrived in the 2022 Supertwin TT, and recent seasons have underlined continued forward momentum. The 2025 campaign proved one of his strongest to date, with personal best lap speeds recorded in every class. A final-lap speed of 121.899mph in the second Supertwin race made him the third fastest rider ever in the class, while a tenth-place finish in the Superbike TT backed up his identical result in the 2024 Senior TT.

The Supersport class, meanwhile, saw him have one of his best results with a brilliant fourth place taken in the second race last year, the Magherafelt rider only beaten by Dunlop, Dean Harrison and Davey Todd. A lap of 126.358mph was his quickest to date on a 600cc machine and further strides forward is the undoubted aim and expectation for 2026.

Paul Jordan: “With the exception of the Supersport class, everything’s the same with the Jackson Racing team this year and continuing with them for a third successive year was a no-brainer. I’ve had my best results with them so I’m looking forward to getting going for another year. The aim is to build on a strong 2025 season and I’m hoping we can move up the ladder that bit more. The switch to the Ducati is something that I believe will stand us in good stead and I’ve already had a couple of outings on the bike so continuing with the same team, same crew and same bikes gives us a solid foundation in terms of preparation and confidence. I’m looking forward to getting back to the Island and getting the racing underway.”

Alan Jackson, Team Owner: “It’ll be our third year together with Paul and that speaks volumes of how we see his talent and potential and having already enjoyed some good success together, none more so than last year’s Supertwin TT podium, we’re hoping to keep building and keep progressing in 2026 with the continuity helping us improve on last year. We’re sticking with the Honda and Aprilia whilst the Ducati V2 Panigale will be the same as Michael Dunlop’s and it’s all with the aim of giving Paul the tools to do the job. We’re also continuing with Prosper2 for the third year, and we simply want Paul to go out there and enjoy himself and if he does that, the results will come.”

With proven machinery, growing experience and established team cohesion, Jordan arrives at TT 2026 aiming to convert consistency into further podium contention across multiple races on the Mountain Course.
