ROADHOUSE MACAU CONFIRMS DATZER AND MCCORMACK FOR TT 2026
Roadhouse Macau will field a strong line-up at the 2026 Isle of Man TT Races, with David Datzer joining long-standing team rider Brian McCormack for a multi-class campaign on the Mountain Course.
For Datzer, the 2026 event represents a long-awaited return to the TT after two disrupted seasons. The 33-year-old German, the 2024 IRRC Superbike Champion and a two-time Macau Grand Prix podium finisher, was originally set to contest the TT with the team in 2025 before suffering serious injuries at the Stare Mesto road races in the Czech Republic after being struck by a crashed rider’s bike.
After lengthy period of rehabilitation, Datzer returned to competition at the final round of the IRRC Championship at Frohburg, taking third-place finish and confirming his readiness for a renewed TT challenge in 2026.

David Datzer returns fully recovered.
Datzer will ride the Roadhouse Macau BMW M1000RR in the RST Superbike TT, Milwaukee Senior TT, and both RL360 Superstock TT races aboard. He will also contest the Monster Energy Supersport TT races on the Global Robots / PHR Performance Triumph, giving him a six-race programme across the fortnight.
Datzer said. “I’m looking forward to a great and successful season with Roadhouse Macau. I’d like to improve on my best lap time, riding the BMW M1000RR - a bike that I know well. After my injuries in 2025, the most important thing is to be back on the bike, fit, and enjoying the Mountain Course again. My dream is to enter the 130mph club”
Alongside him, Waterford’s Brian McCormack continues his long association with the Roadhouse Macau team. Now 42, McCormack has been an ever-present at the Isle of Man TT since making his debut in 2010 and has made 64 starts, establishing himself as a consistent performer, particularly in the 1000cc classes.

McCormack produces consistent results with three top-ten TT finishes to date.
McCormack has recorded three top-ten TT finishes to date, the most recent coming in the 2024 RST Superbike race, where he finished tenth. Last year also saw him claim three further top-twenty results, including 15th in the second RL360 Superstock race. He now boasts 45 replicas from 48 TT finishes, with 15 results inside the top 15, and holds a personal best lap of the Mountain Course at 128.812mph, set in the 2019 Milwaukee Senior TT.
In 2026, McCormack will again contest the RST Superbike TT, Milwaukee Senior TT, and both RL360 Superstock TT races on the BMW M1000RR. He will also line up in both Monster Energy Supersport TT races on the Global Robots / PHR Performance Triumph as well as both Sportbike TT races aboard the Global Robots Aprilia RS660.
Speaking on their 2026 campaign, McCormack said the focus is on both his own performance and the wider team effort. “I’m really looking forward to 2026 and to having the team I wanted in 2025. David couldn’t race with us last year because of his injuries but he’s now fully recovered, we want to help him reach his goals at the TT. It’s been a busy winter as a team owner, organising everything while still preparing myself, but I’m in really good shape and great people around us with excellent sponsors and partners.”
For Datzer, his most recent TT finish came in 2023 when he placed 25th in the Milwaukee Senior TT, recording a best lap of 126.858mph. Reliability issues and a crash at the 11th Milestone in the opening Supertwin TT race hampered his 2024 campaign, while his injuries subsequently ruled him out of the 2025 event.
The team will again be supported by Klaus Klaffenböck, who returns as a sponsor and brings with him extensive Isle of Man TT experience from both a team and competitor perspective. “I’m especially pleased to be working with Brian for the second year in a row,” Klaffenböck said. “I’m really looking forward to this year’sTT, and I’m confident it will be a successful season for the entire team.”
With Datzer returning at full strength and McCormack providing continuity. Roadhouse Macau arrive at TT 2026 with a balanced and competitive line-up across multiple classes.
