TROPHY TRIUMPHS: THE AWARD WINNERS OF 2025

Celebrate the standout riders and rising stars of the 2025 Isle of Man TT with a full recap of this year’s Trophy and Award winners, from Michael Dunlop’s historic haul to new names on the rise.

When the final flag drops and the Mountain Course falls silent, the stories that endure aren’t always just about victory - they’re about resilience, performance, progress, and pride. The TT Trophies and Awards celebrate all of that, recognising not only the headline-grabbing heroes but the unsung warriors and rising stars of this year’s Isle of Man TT Races.

Here’s to the class of 2025 - each one carving their name into the history books of the world’s toughest road race.

MOST DECORATED OF ALL TIME

At the centre of the storm, once again, was Michael Dunlop. His 2025 campaign was nothing short of iconic. With victories in both Monster Energy Supersport and Supertwin races, his continued performance was a masterclass across categories, blending the unmistakable aggression that has come to define his style with a level of control that only experience brings.

His efforts were recognised across the board: the TT Supporters’ Club Trophy for best overall Supersport performance, the Gavin Lee Trophy for Supertwin domination, and the Martin Finnegan Trophy as the fastest Irish competitor.

But it didn’t stop there, Dunlop’s name is once again etched on the TT Formula 2 Cup for the fastest Supersport lap, the John Williams Trophy for fastest lap in the Superbike class, and the Joe Craig Trophy for his record breaking 123mph lap in the Supertwin class. In total, six trophies -  a haul that reflects not just a year of good races, but his newly achieved status as the most decorated TT rider of all time.

WHERE THE CROWE FLIES

On three wheels, Ryan and Callum Crowe were unassailable. With back-to-back victories in the Sidecar TT Races, they delivered one of the most dominant performances the class has seen in years. Their 121mph lap - the fastest ever recorded - earned them the Jock Taylor Trophy, while their peerless consistency across both outings secured the Bill Boddice Trophy for best overall sidecar performance. For the local duo, it wasn’t just about winning - it was about cementing themselves as the next great Sidecar partnership to beat.

The Crowes stamped their authority on the sidecar class once again, setting a new lap record of 121.021mph in the process.

The future, though, is never far behind, and it arrived in the shape of Kieran Clarke, commanding the chair with conviction in his TT debut, he took home the Peter Chapman Trophy for best sidecar newcomer driver. Alongside him, Andrew Johnson, who rode with poise to claim the Dave Wells Trophy for best newcomer passenger. Between them, the next era of three-wheeled warriors has well and truly arrived.

TOP OF THE STOCKS

In the Superstock class, Dean Harrison was supreme. His double victory in both races was as measured as it was mighty - a reminder that mastery over the Mountain comes not just from aggression, but from patience and precision.

Harrison’s victories earned him the John Hartle Trophy as the top performer in the class, the Don Ryder Trophy for the fastest Superstock lap, and the prestigious Jimmy Simpson Trophy for the fastest lap of the entire fortnight, a reward for a rider who continues to deliver on the biggest of stages.

Davey Todd, meanwhile, staked his claim as the new force in the big-bike classes. His flawless win in the RST Superbike TT was enough to secure the Joey Dunlop Trophy for best combined performance across the Superbike and (cancelled) Senior classes.

THE FUTURE CONTENDERS

Not all victories are measured in minutes and seconds. For Mitch Rees, claiming the Vernon Cooper Trophy for best solo newcomer marked the successful conclusion to months of preparation. He rode with a maturity beyond expectation, learning with every lap.

And in a moment that brought fans closer to the action, Loris Majcan was awarded the Monster Energy People’s Challenger Trophy - the result of a public vote recognising his heart, hustle, and determination on the world’s toughest course. The award also marked a symbolic passing of the torch: last year’s RST Star of Tomorrow, Loris now watched as Kevin Keyes stepped into the spotlight in 2025, earning that same title for a strong 2025 campaign.

James Hind once again proved the privateer spirit is alive and well, earning the Privateers Cup after another week of running with and on occasion ahead of factory-backed rivals.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Of course, no TT is complete without the engineers and teams behind the visors. Michael Dunlop’s MD Racing team took home the Solo Team Championship Award, reflecting their flawless execution across multiple classes, while Honda once again claimed the Solo Manufacturer Championship after a strong showing across the grid.

Some trophies reflect moments rather than totals such as a single lap, a flash of brilliance, a superlative effort. The Senior TT Trophy, and the Norman Brown Trophy for the fastest Senior lap, were not awarded in 2025 following the cancellation of the race due to weather - a reminder that the challenge of TT is often in the spirited nature of the uncontrollable factors. But the rest of the week more than made up for it.

THE SPIRIT OF THE MOUNTAIN

Each trophy tells a story of breakthroughs, battles, near misses, and absolute dominance. Whether it’s a record-setting lap or a newcomer finding their lines, the recipients of the 2025 TT Trophy and Awards are united by one truth: they left their mark on the Mountain Course.

And in a place where nothing is given, and everything must be earned, that’s the highest honour of all.
