LIVE VIDEO PASS

TT 2022 will mark a significant moment in the 115-year history of the Isle of Man TT Races with the introduction of live coverage – available via the TT+ Live Pass. Live coverage will transform the way thousands of fans follow the races with all the action and reaction delivered straight to your smart TV or device.

The TT+ Live Pass will be available for a one-off payment of £14.99*, which will give you access to every qualifying session and race at TT 2022, as well as all the insight and analysis that goes with it. Delivering the live broadcast will be a 200-strong production team capturing all the action via various locations trackside. All-new kerb-cams will also bring a different angle and the addition of a second heli-cam will capture all the drama and speed across the 37.73-mile course.

Presenting the TT live broadcast is an experienced team, including TT regulars, Matt Roberts and Amy Williams, both hugely respected presenters thanks to their work in motorcycling and the Winter Olympics respectively. A new face to the TT, however, is Jennie Gow – the highly acclaimed journalist and broadcaster set to anchor the live coverage.

Behind the race commentary, meanwhile, is Dave Moore. The TT regular will this year be sharing commentating duties with Andrew Coley, whose credits include FIA World Rally Cross, MotoGP and Goodwood Festival of Speed. Joining Dave and Andrew as pundits are double TT winners, Cameron Donald and Steve Plater.

The Live Pass will be available to buy on the TT’s own digital channel (TT+) which launches in spring.  So, wherever you are based, as long as you have a suitable device and an internet connection, you’ll be able to follow TT 2022 live. How amazing is that?

ATTENTION PADDOCK: RADIO TT RETURNS FOR 2022

LISTEN

Big news for Radiophiles. Radio TT will also make its return in 2022 with full live coverage of every qualifying session and race. The new-look radio team will also have near-complete and continuous oversight of the whole course, thanks to the introduction of the live stream coverage.

Informing and entertaining fans since 1964, Radio TT has a new anchor in Steve Day, whose voice will already be known to fans of MotoGP and World Superbike working as lead commentator in both series’. Joining Steve in the control tower as chief-analyst is Chris Boyde, who has been commentating on Manx motorsport for years and has an unrivalled knowledge of the TT.

Reporting from pit lane will be Isle of Man radio personalities, Chris Kinley and Beth Espey. Chris will need no introduction to TT fans, having covered the event since 2003, while Beth is likely to be a new voice to race fans. An expert interviewer, she brings an engaging presence to local radio.

You’ll be able to tune into Radio TT via Manx Radio’s FM and AM frequencies, or click on to iomttraces.com to listen from anywhere in the world. A live timing service will also be available at iomttraces.com – with no subscription – and is the perfect partner to your TT audio experience.

WEBSITE

Throughout TT 2022, our website will be the knowledge hub for all TT fans. As well as hosting the Live Timings and Radio TT, the team will be constantly updating the website to ensure the latest information is displayed.

Live Timings is the perfect way to follow the progress of your favourite riders. Having undergone a revamp in 2019, the easy-to-navigate system allows fans to switch between ‘Sector Analysis’ – where you can see every sector of a rider's lap – and the ‘Leaderboard’, which gives you the all-important live standings.

Riders can be ‘pinned’ to the top of the board allowing fans to easily monitor the progress of their personal favourites around the TT Mountain Course. Provisional results will be posted in real time with final verified results available shortly after the conclusion of every race and qualifying session.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you’ll also receive a neat daily round up, delivered straight to your inbox.
